Solution
Industrial Manufacturing ERP
An industry-specific ERP for a maker of composite pipes and pultruded and moulded products, covering sales, purchase, production, stock, quality testing, dispatch and customer communication.
The business
A composites manufacturer runs three production lines, for pipes, pultrusion and moulding, each with its own tooling, machine plans and quality tests. Generic ERPs did not fit these workflows, so sales, production and quality teams each kept their own records.
The challenge
- Model three production types, production request forms, die tooling and machine plans.
- Record routine and hydrostatic pipe tests and issue test reports.
- Run sales from lead to quotation, proforma, delivery and payment follow-up.
- Reach customers and staff on WhatsApp, SMS and email.
What we did
We delivered the ERP end to end, with project management, as a role-based web platform used daily by sales, purchase, production and supervisory teams. Scheduled jobs send daily, weekly and monthly report cards, reminders and WhatsApp queues. Quality test results are imported and issued as PDF reports. A library of role-based how-to guides supports the users.
